GloriaFood Alternative: Switch Before April 2027
GloriaFood closes on April 30, 2027. Compare its free plan with a commission-free alternative, see what to move, and plan a switch without lost orders.

GloriaFood is closing. Oracle will end all GloriaFood products and services on April 30, 2027, and it no longer signs up restaurants directly. If you take online orders through GloriaFood, you need a replacement that keeps your orders commission-free and your menu online, ideally before the busy months, not in the last week of April.
This page compares what GloriaFood's free plan gives you with Acuolina, our product, and lists what you'll need to move. Every GloriaFood fact links to Oracle's or GloriaFood's own pages, checked on October 25, 2026.
What's happening to GloriaFood?
Here's what Oracle has published:
- End of life on April 30, 2027. The Oracle GloriaFood FAQ (version 1.0, March 2026) covers online ordering (freemium and paid tiers), the POS and Oracle Payment. The GloriaFood homepage shows the same date.
- No new direct customers. Oracle no longer signs new direct agreements with restaurants; new ones can only come in through GloriaFood partners until the end date.
- Renewals up to one month before. Paid services end when your renewal expires, between April 1 and April 30, 2027.
- 30 days to get your data. After your services end, you can retrieve your data for 30 days. No extensions are mentioned.
One date to watch: Oracle's food and beverage page says "full end of service scheduled for March 31, 2027". The FAQ and GloriaFood's own site say April 30. Plan for the earlier date and you're covered either way.
Before you pick a replacement, check four things:
- Does it charge a commission or a fee per order?
- Can guests order for pickup, delivery and at the table?
- How do orders reach you, and do you need a new device or app?
- What do you lose, such as card payments, reservations or a POS link?
What does GloriaFood's free plan include that you need to replace?
GloriaFood's pricing page lists a free plan with unlimited orders, no commission and no monthly fee, plus paid extras. Here's how it lines up with Acuolina's plans (checked October 25, 2026):

How do you switch from GloriaFood without losing orders?
Plan for an afternoon of setup and a couple of weeks of overlap. In order:
- Save your data now. Keep copies of your menu, customer list and reports while your GloriaFood account still works. Don't count on the 30-day window.
- Rebuild the menu. Add categories, dishes, photos and options. It's a good moment to drop dishes that don't sell; our digital menu guide covers the basics.
- Turn on the order types you use. Pickup, delivery with your fees, and dine-in. For tables, see how QR code table ordering works.
- Replace every ordering link. The "See MENU & Order" button on your website, your Facebook page, your Google Business Profile and any printed flyers.
- Print new QR codes. Your old codes lead to GloriaFood ordering, which ends with the service, so replace table cards early. Our QR code menu guide shows how.
- Run both for two weeks. Point new links to the new menu, keep GloriaFood live, and watch for orders that still arrive the old way.
- Stop renewals. Oracle accepts renewals only up to a month before the end date; cancel paid add-ons once you no longer need them.
What doesn't Acuolina do yet?
Online payment by card isn't built in yet: guests pay you directly, at the table, at the counter or on delivery. Acuolina also takes orders, not table reservations, and it doesn't replace a POS, so keep your current till.
If what you used was the free menu and free ordering, Acuolina covers it with no commission, and it works with the WhatsApp you already have. The free plan takes up to 50 orders a month; if you get more, Chef has unlimited orders for $19 a month. Every new restaurant gets Chef free for 14 days, so you can try it with your real orders first.
Why keep ordering commission-free?
GloriaFood's main selling point was that you kept the whole order value. Delivery apps work differently: they take a percentage of each order. Before you move your regulars to an app "just for now", read our comparison of commission-free ordering and delivery apps to see what that costs on a typical order.
Which GloriaFood alternative fits your restaurant?
It depends on what you used:
- Free menu and online ordering. What matters most is a free plan with no commission; check for order caps too. Compare the free QR menu options, including Acuolina.
- Online ordering plus card payments. With Acuolina you get the order and guests pay you directly, at the counter, at the table or on delivery, with the card terminal you already have.
- GloriaFood POS, Simphony or OPERA. Talk to your POS vendor first; Oracle's FAQ says the GloriaFood integrations stop working after the end date.
GloriaFood's homepage also mentions FoodAmigos as one provider, while noting that Oracle offers no direct replacement and its FAQ says it cannot recommend third-party providers.

Frequently asked questions
Is GloriaFood shutting down?
Yes. Oracle's GloriaFood FAQ (version 1.0, March 2026) says all GloriaFood products and services, including the free online ordering plan, the POS and Oracle Payment, reach end of life on April 30, 2027.
Can I still sign up for GloriaFood?
Not directly. Oracle says it no longer signs new direct agreements with restaurants; before the end date, new restaurants can only be onboarded through GloriaFood partners.
What happens to my GloriaFood data?
According to Oracle's FAQ, you can retrieve your data for 30 days after your services expire, end or are cancelled. Export your menu, customer list and order history before you switch, not after.
Is there a free GloriaFood alternative?
Yes. Acuolina's Basic plan is free with no time limit and includes unlimited menus, a QR code, and up to 50 orders a month by WhatsApp and SMS with no commission per order. The Chef plan, at $19 a month, adds unlimited orders and discounts sent to your customers by email and SMS.
Does Acuolina take online card payments like GloriaFood's paid add-on?
Not yet. Guests pay you the way they do today, at the table, at the counter or on delivery, and Acuolina never touches the money.
Does Oracle recommend a replacement?
Oracle's FAQ says it cannot recommend specific third-party providers. GloriaFood's website mentions one provider, FoodAmigos, while saying Oracle offers no direct replacement.
